As the year comes to an end, Howard is working on a family resort hotel in Shijiazhuang from his base at the B+H Architects’ Hong Kong office. This latest design encloses a

4-season water park within the multistorey atrium. The playful design evokes a cruise liner moored at the lakeside. The interior components of the water park work with the design aspects that integrate into the sites' natural lakeside setting, allowing for year-round enjoyment in this northerly city. Howard prepares his sketches for his team to model using SketchUp to explore the complex programmatic workings of these resorts.
