Huronia Players’ 50th season of community theatre coincided with the Midland Cultural Centre’s opening in the spring of 2012. This 121-seat theatre occupies the centre of the building. The back of house includes a rehearsal room on the second floor that mimics the stage, a green room, dressing rooms and set storage room. The acoustic separation of the main theatre space from the other areas of the building, as well as a noise reduction mechanical system, ensure that the focus of the audience is on the performance.
